I picked up my first mack "00" at fourteen. I wasnt any good on the first attempt. So being very impatient, I put the brush and the old fingernail polish away. Thats right! My first time out I tried fingernail polish! I didnt know any better and I couldnt find anyone who did. Many years later,I found some magazine articles and tried it again. I started striping anythig that didnt move,and some things that did. I met another striper/sign painter with 35 years in the "biz" who came to look at an old car I had for sale. He took one look around the garage at all the CRAP I had tried to stripe and said "MANNN! you got it BAAAD! Here, let me show ya a thing or two!" I still need more practice to be "pro" quality, but I am enjoying the learning experience and I find it a great way to "de-stress" after work. I hope I can figure out how to post pics and stuff here and look forward to learning more from others on this web site
