I've been interested in all kinds of painting for most of my life and as a kid spent hours painting toy soldiers with acrylics. It wasn't until around 3 years ago when i started attending more bike rallies that i began to take an interest in custom paint. Some of the bikes I saw blew me away and this inspired me to get hold of an airbrush (Thanks to my brother Peter for sorting me out there!) My first attempts left a lot to be desired but each piece i do seems to be getting better. A couple of forums on the internet were an invaluable help, especially the custom paint shop forum, where everyone was open and willing to share there advice. It was on here that i saw my first examples of pinstriping and immediately loved it! I won tickets to the Brighton Tattoo Convention and it was here i bought my first striping kit. Since then I've painted as often as possible (but not as much as i'd like!). Just a quick thank you to My brother Peter for advice, my brother Mick for letting me loose on his own custom builds and all the people in the custom community who always seem willing to help out with any unanswered questions!
