CommentsBIG STEVIE SHARP 2010-11-05 17:28:16 GREAT STUFF! Chris Dunlop 2010-07-26 22:14:23 I've found that planning is not the best idea. It only confuses and dilutes the purpose of this free handed art. There are certain areas that will be planned, but for 90% of this, i put the marker to the surface and let it happen how it happens. Usually works out pretty well big john t 2010-07-26 16:37:21 That looks really cool. Do you plan out your designs first or just go with it? Eugene(Gene) Mink 2010-07-26 14:30:07 looks crazy sweet Rex 2010-07-26 12:26:24 That is an insane amount of work and concentration. Whatever your compensation is, it can't be enough. Chris Dunlop 2010-07-26 10:21:26 In some cases, i would clear over it. In this case im using Industrial strength Sharpies which have a more potent ink and can withstand alot more abuse then regular Sharpies. Doing the artwork on a flat paint job as opposed to a shiney one has helped. And afterwards i can carefully wax it to help give it a little more protection. Andy Larmouth 2010-07-26 06:18:29 looking good. Do you clear it after? Years ago i did a guitar with sharpie but after a few months it nearly all faded. How do you overcome this? Do you get that slightly bronze shine to it when in the sun? |
