| Shamrocker 2008-02-22 13:31:04 thats good advice Mark, keep at it!! kenny g 2008-02-21 23:01:03 You have potential Mark. Keep practicing. Take your time. Keep it simple when learning. There is nothing easy about pinstriping, so when you are learning you just can't whip them off. Your symytry is pretty good but as brushwiz said join your lines proper, otherwise you just look lazy. One of the best things I bought was a Mack paint eraser which comes in very handy for cleaning up mistakes, especially line joints. Keep at it. brushwiz 2008-02-21 19:39:58 Mark, first of all, I hate it when artist put their stuff on here and then doesn't add any comments about the piece. If you are just starting to stripe, you need to practice, I know it is boring, straight lines, working on getting the lines uniform thickness. Then you can work on curves and designs. Also where yor lines end and connect, the points should be sharp and end even to one line. Keep the design within the panel not running into the border. Try designs with not so many lines. I will be glad to give you any help you need and answer any questions you may have. |
