I am a graphic designer by trade but have always had a fascination with hotrods. I tried to lay my first lines as a sophomore in high school but it wasn't until a year or two age that I actually started to practice my brush strokes. My wife got me a spot in one of Bob Bonds pinstriping classes as a b-day present and I think that it was the best present that I have ever received! Since the class a couple of years ago I try and get out to the garage to practice at least once a week. Pinstriping is currently a hobby of mine but I would love to turn it into a major weekend gig! It would give me a good excuse to get to every car show that I can.
