I have been practising the pinstriping for some 25 years odd. Living in Finland the first years were pretty hard since there were no teachers or stripers in existence. That's why I decided when I learn to do the craft, I will spread the word to the newcomers. I have done a video tape of the basics of pinstriping as well as a booklet about the matter. I have also organized some courses of pinstriping. The biggest influences I have got from the pinhead and letterhead meetings in England, Scotland, USA and lately the Japanese Mooneys Hot Rod Show with the great Japanese stripers and Americans Herb Martinez and Jimmy C. Alan Johnson has given some great advices and examples as well. A great experience was also the Daytona Biketoberfest '99 where I took a close look of the striping business by working there for four days. I can tell you the business is a bit harder in that side of the Atlantic than in Europe!
