Hi All, I had my HotRod EDSEL dash pinstriped in 07 by Matt (who does awesome work BTW) at JalopyRama and wanted to have more done. I finally started learning striping in the spring of 08 after a back injury took me out of work. I started with the basic 1 shot colors,Mack brushes, books, and lots of frustration. I am doing this as a hobby for myself and enjoy the challenge. Then I found a local sign shop that stocks 1 Shot and sign blanks. Now I look back at my work from the start and I see a big improvement. Got some scrolling and lettering brushes and I am moving forward.. I have little artistic background, so I am pretty much copying other peoples work at this point so I can learn. Remember Picasso's quote: "Good artists copy. Great artists steal." So I'm going to copy now and steal later! I look forward to learning from you all and enjoy the comradery that exists here. Thanks, JB
