Grandfather was a stone carver. Mom into a bunch of different art. Dad was into the cars. I guess the two worlds eventually grew together. Been at the stripin' thing for 8 years or so. Ended up jobless. Paintin' was all I had to fall back on. For going on 3 years now it's been my full time job. Can't really say it's so much of a job. Constantly surrounded with people into the same stuff and doing what I really enjoy. Was lucky enough to get a few pointers along the way from striping masters Tex Mcdorman, Gary Jenson, Gene Maynor, Jim Norris and a few others. Jerry Cambell in N. Delaware was the first striping I ever encountered. His stuff kicks butt. Finally talked with him at a show. Introduce yourself if you run across him. He's a great person to talk to. One of those guys gave me some words of wisdom. "Always strive to better your craft and never give your work away." By the way, Airbrush Action Magazine puts on The Getaway. There's a striping course. Very worth while! I'd like to go back to another one. Feel free to contact me if ya got nothin' better to do. Always good to meet another striper. If ya get the chance, check out my website. More pics on there. igorscustom.com
