When lettering grid out first,and watch your spacing,strange things happen when you put some letters together (eg AW AT)spacing sort of overlaps.As a rule of thumb if it sits nice to the eye,it's RIGHT!

im with eggie on this. i use a stabilo for a centre line and the bare bones of a design. then i can add to or take away while im layin paint.

I always use a stibillo. I like knowing what the design looks like before I start striping it. That way I can make any changes before it's to late.

my fourth peice having a little trouble with symetry i think i'm gonna try stabillo pencils to help with reference points.
