Restoration PINSTRIPING & KUSTOM PAINTING IN Denver, CO! I am only doing non-restoration work for a few select customers. Started striping and lettering in Nov. 1997. Spent 3 years apprenticing under Harry Henkel (1999-2002). I have attended various Society Of Gilder's meets and classes, Alan Johnson's "Nothin's Happenin'", and various Striping events at different car and bike shows. As far as Kustom Painting, I am mostly self taught and always learning. In 2002 I started doing restoration work; and when doing restorations, I always try to figure out how each thing was done and redo it in the same way. I did the dash panel for a 1931 Cadillac Convert. as well as striping the whole body. The dash had 89 lines fanning from the center! I am currently recreating the striping and patterns on antique Harley VLs, restoration striping on BMW bikes and Triumphs, as well as PAINTING and gilding signs. There are about 6 pages here.... Recent Awards: 1931 Cadillac 99.75 pts. Silver Smoke BMW R90 in a museum in the North West someplace. 99.75 pts for 1955 Triumph Blackbird I striped. Also won numerous Best in Shows Back to Back Best Paint for Gordon Garvey's Big Bear Chopper done in Ghost Flames under Candy. Sign of the Month Winner at Letterheads.com for Glass Gilding.
