I've been doing painted signs and striping off and on for about thirty years. Now, more on than off. Still trying to get it right. It's good to see more young people coming into the field. I've always like doing something a little "different", like accenting many of my panels with frames that are hand made to "fit" the design. For nostalgic reasons, I make them out of old barn wood, old boards, whatever; to accentuate the "look". And, I don't have a 'typical' style of striping, so that most of my striping jobs look unique and different from each other. I realize that may lead to people not recognizing my work by its style; but as long as they recognize it as a good looking job, that's all I need.
