Son of a sign painter. As a kid in the late 70's I can remember watching my dad paint signs with 1-shot and how steady he would start and stop each stroke of his brush. There was never a time when I didn't smell 1-shot and mineral spirits...I guess I got hooked and didn't know it yet.I started striping on race cars about 2006...never did any painting before that. Always dug the mystique of the hand painter/pinstriper eccentric. I try to soak up everything I can about the trade, and know you never stop learning. I have much respect for those that paved the way.
