Started, trying to use hardware paint and plain
ol' art brushes. I went to a sign shop in 1956
and was introduced to the formulas of paints
and brushes. From there it was a matter of
practicing for months and screwing up a few
friends cars until I could get comfortable with
all the tools. I striped when I could through the years while working in a few different trades.
I was a toolmaker, model maker, sign painter,
worked as a marketing director and so on.
I always kept a brush wet through the years and
had a shop for custom paint in Illinois and a lot
of custom work on the west coast.
Mack Brush, hall of fame # 45.
