My ride, (1935 Chevrolet Standard Sedan, power provided by a 1972 Ford 351 Windsor) pinstriped flames on hood with spatter work around the belt line and bottom. all outlined in 1-shot fire red
I've had my first Grumbacher 1010 since 1957 when I was growing up in Helena, Montana. In those days there was no help, no books, no outlets for 1-Shot so I put the brush in a box with my favorite things. Every once in a while I would dig it out to just run it through my fingers. You see, to this day the brush has never touched paint.
Following 32 years as an educator I dug out my old brushes that I had collected over the the years purchased some new paints and started to work on and off for the next few years. It has been since 2009 that I have started any type of practice schedule.
I enjoy working with paints and brushes. Still working on line consistency and designs. Hopefully my skills will continue to improve.
Following the Pinhead Lounge has helped. I admire the great work I see in lettering, pinstriping, cartoons, designs, and color combinations.
