Angela/Gigi H.
I was introduced to pinstriping when I was a sophomore in high school. But I didn't pick up the brush until I was a senior, in 2004.
I have taught myself for the most part, except for advice from pinstripers I have met from car shows and conventions.
I continue to study the history of where it originated and keep in touch with the "old school" pinstripers.
I think that it is great that people are trying to keep the lost art alive. As a young pinstriper, I think that it is a big responsibility to make sure vinyls do not completely rule the car scene.
I wish I could say that this was my full time career, but I will make it my goal in the next 5-10 years. But for right now I work at a Dupont paint supply store full-time. |
